Relay Spirit
Relay is over and lemme tell ya, it was awesome. In the true sense of the word, not the 80's watered-down version. We walked and sweated and raised money and sweated and danced and sweated and sang and sweated...you get the picture. Team Walking with Angels made the most of the event and it showed because we won the SPIRIT AWARD! (C'mon, be impressed, it's the only award given at Relay.) I'll give a link to all the pics soon but in the meanwhile, check these out:

Spirit Award Winners! Go Angels.
One of my baby's luminarias.The event raised over $51,000 for the American Cancer Society. Our team raised over $4000, not bad for our first year!

I'm sure I missed folks so thank you everyone. This was a total team effort and I am proud that we were all a part of CURING CANCER!

RIGHT ON TEAM! You all are amazing...doing so much to fight this nasty disease! I'm not at all surprised about the spirit award...I mean come on...drama people w/no spirit - it's unheard of! :-) Great job!

It was awesome...I found myself experiencing some of the same withdrawal I feel after a show. I missed you guys last night. I can't wait for next year's event...we'll be back...to do our part to kick cancer's bootay!!! You and Becci were amazing team leaders...your creativity and dedication to the cause inspired all of us to be the best.
Way to go you angels!! Count me in for next year! Can't wait!

We got spirit, yes we do!!! Lori, thank you for all you did to make this such an outstanding event! It was such a great time from the sno-cones and water fights to the luminaria ceremony! The whole thing was awesome :) Michelle
