Wow. Clearly, I'll start feeding Avery a steady - yet moderate - diet of high fructose corn syrup now that I have the facts. Thank you, TV!
I call that stuff Sam-phetamine. All who know me know that anyone who feeds it to him...gets to keep him for the week.
That is seriously crazy. Marketing to the less educated that feel everything on TV is the truth! Wow.
Of course, having said that...I also get totally annoyed having to listen to the political commercials - when they are so obviously slandering the other candidate...it's just absurd! We are not idiots!
And now, I shall issue a plug for my favorite product of all time: TiVo. I have yet to see a single political ad this year. I still hear about all the hoopla, and sometimes watch bits online, but life is bliss when you don't have to watch political ads.
I thought I was the only one who finds these commercials completely insane! Oi...I agree with Beth, it's scary how much people believe something just because it's on TV.
