Back to Work
Well, for multiple reasons, I am returning to work a month early. I attended a meeting today for a few hours but next week I'm back full time. I am so thankful that Jeff is a stay at home dad. Not only so that I have the flexibility to go back to work anytime but also so that I can feel secure leaving my 2 month old little boy. But that still doesn't make it easy. Then this morning as I was getting ready for work, I looked down at my arm and got a little chuckle. A few weeks ago I burned my blindingly white arm with some hot oil and only today did I notice the shape of the burn. Let's see if you recognize it...

niiiice... now if only you could learn how to master that hot oil business, b/c you could totally have the next big thing on your hands!! So, will you get to take a month off with Ian later on then?
I'm so glad that you enjoy your work--as I know it will be hard to be away from Ian. Think of those great big smiles when you get home from work, though. Tell Jeff to keep up the Ian blog pictures!!! Love, Mom
Sorry you have to come back an month early and I'm really sorry I missed lunch on Tuesday. Went home and slept ALL day. No more headache though! We need to do lunch when you're back!

Sorry you have to go back, but at least you like the job. I have to say it has been spring break all week and I was hoping I could go back to work!! Both kids are sick and not sleeping. Let me tell you time away for a few minutes would be nice :) LIke the branding!
I have heard of drinking the Kool-Aid, but don't you think that is a little excessive? :) Michelle
That's awesome...well, not the fact that you burned yourself but the shape of the burn. I also think it's awesome that you work with Nike. My family and I love Nike :)
sweet burn Lori...I hope it doesn't hurt as much as it looks like it did!
Jeff will have a great time with Ian and take really good care of him while you're away, I'm sure of that and I'm sure you already know that. It's hard to leave them though. They're your babies. You did it with Lillian, so I'm sure you'll manage work and being a mom to Ian, and can't forget wife to Jeff.
Whoa...the burn is a little eerie. Nike really is a company that gets under your skin, huh? I hope I get to see you, Jeff and little Ian sometime soon! He is truly gorgeous!
