Hospital LBS

You'll NEVER believe what I did this morning. Nope, not that. Nooo, not that either. I told you that you'd never guess! I worked out. And by that I mean I got on a treadmill and walked briskly for 20 minutes. I know, I know, that's not much of a workout. But hey, I'm not training to be a world champion treadmiller. Sheesh, don't kill my buzz here people! The point is, I got my booty out of bed and on to the treadmill. That's gotta count for something. And it was enough to get me sweatin' up a storm.

And so I bid a fond farewell to my hospital pounds. It's been fun team. To the cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate from Starbucks, I'd like to say "you're delicious and I'll miss you!" To the grilled cheese and fries from the hospital cafeteria, I'd like to say "you weren't worth it at all and I don't miss you!" And to the sofa and big screen tv, I'd like to say "who are we kidding, I'll see you tonight."

After that glowing speech, let's hope I can keep this up...

YOU GO GIRL!!!! The beauty of the treadmill is that you can sit on the couch and watch tv when you're done! And, even have cinnamon roll once in a while. Yippee!!!!

Way to go! I have to say I can barely walk today after my second run or should we say jog/walk since 2005 HTC!! So, we will get back into shape together. Everyone keeps say well at least you play soccer, they obviously don't realize I am a goalie. All I had to do was just stand there, not much moving involved and rarely did I have to run or break a sweat. So, here's to working out! I challenge you to a walk tomorrow (that is if I can actually walk by then).

You should have seen Maddy eat one of those grill cheese fry combos from the cafeteria while recovering from the LP meds. I have never seen someone eat stoned and she was hysterical. I actually miss the sushi...that's what I ate. I kept the lbs off simply because Maddy made me chase her the entire time. I developed Plantar Fasciitis from running after her in less than sensible shows. It has made me hang up my treadmill shoes for a while. I am very sad about that. My trick for staying on the treadmill? I would Tivo some shows and I could only watch them while running. I also had some good treadmill movies. One of my favorites? Enough. I loved watching J Lo getting beat up and trying to beat up her husband. Lots of adrenaline. Keep up the good work!

Oh, me, oh my, do I feel ya!! I had a nice run with our "steroid munchies", and now I am paying the granny swimsuit price! I am trying to walk 30 minutes everyday...outside no less. This task feels enormous when I am sooo tired and sooo hungry for those bbq chips, buttered cin. toast, and gold fish! I find the key is starving myself after 7:30pm, but man you should see me gulp down the yummies at 7:20 :)

I have to say, you looked amazing on Saturday! I was bowled over...you go girl!
